Kilts & Courage, The Story of the 42nd or Royal Highland Regiment in the American War for Independence, 1776-1783, by Paul L. Pace. This page is set up to support and promote an archive-driven three volume set of books providing detailed information on the British Army's Black Watch Regiment (3SCOTS) during the American Revolution. Vol. I will provide a narrative of the operations of the regiment during the American war and the uniforms of the regiment. Vol. II consists of biographies and documents associated with the 100+ officers of the regiment who served during the war. Vol. III provides an archive of the contemporary documents associated with the regiment from company muster reports, period articles and letters, etc.
